REGISTRATION

G&G Tour events are open to PGA of BC members in good standing. Events have a field size of approximately 40 to 60 players. Registrations are reviewed by the G&G Tour Committee with priority access given to: (i) G&G Tour members, (ii) previous season's Order of Merit, (iii) host club, (iv) winner of previous season's G&G Tour, and (v) PGA of BC members currently working full-time in the golf industry.  Determinations of full-time employment will be at the sole discretion of the G&G Tour committee. Full-time employment must be confirmed by the event’s registration deadline or when an event reaches capacity, whichever comes first.  G&G Tour membership is only available to Lower Mainland region PGA of BC members.

To participate in a G&G Tour event, a player may not play in more than two (2) professional tour events 45 days in advance of the commencement of a G&G Tour event in order to be eligible to compete and win prize money in said event. Tours under this clause include all tours used in the Official World Golf Rankings plus the Champions Tour, European Senior Tour, LPGA Tour and Symetra Tour. Exceptions to this two-event limit include any nationally recognized Championship, such as the US Open, Open Championship, RBC Canadian Open or PGA Championship.

Registration is narrowed down and prioritized by:

  • Members of the Tour

  • Top 50 from the previous year's Order of Merit

  • Host Club's

  • 3 Commissioner exemptions

  • Full time in the industry

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AND STARTING TIME

Registration for events will NOT be accepted verbally, by email or by social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter). There are NO exceptions to this rule. To register please sign up through the Golf Genius Link here: SIGN UP.

Players must register at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time. If playing in the final group, please register a minimum of 30 minutes prior to starting time. After this time the registration table will be closed to allow adequate warm up time for those helping with registration.

Rule 6-3a provides: “The player must start at the time established by the Committee.” The penalty for breach of 6-3a is disqualification. However, it is a condition of the competition that, if the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, in the absence of circumstances that warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as provided in Rule 33-7, the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes at the first hole in stroke play instead of disqualification.
