REGISTRATION

G&G Tour events are open to PGA of BC members in good standing. Events have a field size of approximately 40 to 60 players. Spots are filled on a first-come-first-in basis with the priority given to: (i) G&G Tour members, and (ii) PGA of BC members currently working in the industry.

In fair-mindedness and in spirit of competition for G&G Tour members, entry priority for G&G Tour events will go to individuals who are currently working full-time in the golf industry when an event has reached its registration capacity. In such cases, an alternates list will be created on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tournament registrants understand that determinations of full-time employment will be at the sole discretion of the G&G Tour committee. Full-time employment must be confirmed by the event’s registration deadline or when an event reaches capacity, whichever comes first.

A G&G Tour member may not play in more than two (2) professional tour events 45 days in advance of the commencement of a G&G Tour event in order to be eligible to compete and win prize money in said event. Tours under this clause include all tours used in the Official World Golf Rankings plus the Champions Tour, European Senior Tour, LPGA Tour and Symetra Tour. Exceptions to this two-event limit include any nationally recognized Championship, such as the US Open, Open Championship, RBC Canadian Open or PGA Championship.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AND STARTING TIME

Registration for events will NOT be accepted verbally or via social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter). There are NO exceptions to this rule. To register please email gandgtour@gmail.com, or sign up through this website here: SIGN UP.

Players must register at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time. If playing in the final group, please register a minimum of 30 minutes prior to starting time. After this time the registration table will be closed to allow adequate warm up time for those helping with registration.

Rule 6-3a provides: “The player must start at the time established by the Committee.” The penalty for breach of 6-3a is disqualification. However, it is a condition of the competition that, if the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, in the absence of circumstances that warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as provided in Rule 33-7, the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes at the first hole in stroke play instead of disqualification.
